It Doesn't Pay To Be An American

The title says it all.  Fresh stories of abuse of Americans BY Americans continue to surface...A YEAR LATER.

Before I continue...many many people will whine, saying "but these are convicts, animals, murderers, scum", and so on.  Um..no.  Many, but not all were convicts.  There were many (fully one third), who were merely waiting to stand trial (innocent UNTIL proven guilty indeed)!

So who am I talking about?  Prisoners in Orleans Parish Prison...men and teens (females included) left in neck deep sewer water to die. 

Had this happened in, say, Iran...all bloody f*cking hell would have broken loose.  Hell, the U. freaking S. would have invaded and "liberated" the people over an incident like this.  However, this happened to Americans, in America. 

And only now, a year later is more of the truth coming to light.  Why?  Cause...didn't you know...America is perfect!  God bless America.  The land where they preach about democracy and human rights.  Are they preaching and screaming so loudly that they can't hear their own voices?  Or does it COST too much to practice what you preach?  America...home of the quest of the almighty dollar...at the expense of everyone around you. 

And if you figure, like I mentioned, that "who care's...they're only convicts".....Ummmm, no again.  Some were, believe it or not, prison staff and deputies were also left behind.  A few actually died in the conditions resulting from no food, water or electricity.  Oh, and there was the neck deep sewer water and wonderful heat and smoke from prison rioters burning mattresses in frustration.

Luckily, at least 14 inmates escaped.  Well, they were recaptured, however, at first the sheriff claimed none escaped.  Cover up, lies, propoganda...all tools of the American.  And what do they wrought with those tools?...the suffering, not of just any man (or woman), but of fellow Americans!  How can they expect respect, when they have none even for other Americans? 

OK...this is not supposed to be an America-bashing.  There are good ideas, concepts and people in that country.  But it is far from the paradise they want each other and the world to believe. 

I've got to wonder too....how dare they try to impose their lifestyle on others?  It doesn't look like one I want to mimic.
